Introduction

This chapter describes the features of the monitor and the name of each control.

Controls and Functions

Front

  1. Built-in calibration sensor

This sensor is used to perform monitor calibration. When SelfCalibration is executed, the calibration sensor automatically operates and calibrates the monitor periodically (see SelfCalibration).

  1. (SIGNAL) button

Switches the input signal.

  1. (MODE) button

Switches the color mode.

  1. (S-GAMMA (F1)) button

Executes the function assigned to the button.

The indicator color changes according to the function settings.

Blue: Quick Check function is enabled

White: Quick Check function is disabled

Off: A function other than the Quick Check function is assigned

  1. (EOTF (F2)) button
  1. (BRIGHT (F3)) button
  1. (BLACK (F4)) button
  1. Adjustment dial

Rotate left and right to select items in the Setting menu or adjust settings.

Press the adjustment dial to display the Setting menu. After each menu is displayed, press the adjustment dial to confirm.

  1. (EXIT) button

Returns to the previous screen.

  1. Power button

Turns the power on or off.

The indicator lights up when the power is turned on.

The indicator color differs depending on the monitor's operation status.

White: Normal operation mode

Orange: Power saving mode*1

Off: Power is off*1

  1. The fan may stay running to maintain product performance.

  1. Handle

This handle is used for transportation.

Attention

When moving the monitor, make sure two people firmly hold the handle and the bottom of the screen to avoid dropping the monitor.

  1. Security lock slot

Complies with Kensington’s MicroSaver security system.

  1. Stand

The height and angle cannot be adjusted.

  1. Main power switch

Turns the main power on or off.

  1. Power connector

Connects the power cord.

  1. Cable holder

Used to store cables.

Attention

Do not hold the cable holder when moving the monitor. Otherwise, the cable holder may be damaged, resulting in injury or malfunction.

  1. SDI input terminal (BNC)

Connects a device with an SDI output terminal.

SDI 1 and SDI 2 support 12G / 6G / 3G / HD-SDI.

SDI 3 and SDI 4 support 3G / HD-SDI.

Quad Link 3G-SDI using all four terminals is also supported.

  1. SDI output terminal (BNC)

Outputs the signal input to the SDI input terminal as is.

SDI 1 and SDI 2 support 12G / 6G / 3G / HD-SDI.

SDI 3 and SDI 4 support 3G / HD-SDI.

Attention

The monitor supports loop-through output (active). Turn on the main power of the monitor when outputting a signal.

  1. DisplayPortTM connector

Connects to an external device with DisplayPort signal output.

  1. HDMI connector

Connects to an external device with HDMI signal output.

  1. Cable tie mounting hole

Attach a cable tie to prevent the HDMI cable from disconnecting.

  1. USB-A connector (downstream)

Connects to a peripheral USB device.

  1. USB-B connector (upstream)

Connects a USB cable to use software or a USB hub that requires a USB connection (see Using the USB Hub Function).

  1. GPI interface (RJ-45)

Connects a wired remote to use the remote control (GPI) function.

  1. ST 2110 interface (SFP28 cage)

Connects a fiber-optic cable to the IP switch in the IP network system (see IP Network System Connection Example).
