Reduction of Power Consumption

This product is equipped with a function that automatically adjusts the screen brightness to reduce power consumption*1. Power Reduction, CO2 Reduction, and Eco Performance Level can be checked on the "EcoView Settings" menu (see Conserving Energy).

Controls and Functions

Front

  1. Speakers

Outputs audio.

  1. Ambient light sensor

Detects ambient brightness. If you use Auto EcoView, the screen brightness is automatically adjusted according to the ambient brightness (see Auto EcoView).

  1. Operation switches

Displays menus. Operate the switches according to the operation guide (see Basic Operation of the Setting Menu).

  1. Power switch

Turns the power on or off.

  1. Power indicator

Indicates the operation status of the monitor.

White: Normal operation mode

Orange: Power saving mode

Off: Main power / power off

  1. Handle

This handle is used for transportation.

  1. Security lock slot

Complies with Kensington's MicroSaver security system.

  1. Lock button

Use this button to remove the monitor from the stand.

  1. Headphone jack

Connects to headphones.

  1. Stereo mini jack

Connect to the audio output terminal of the PC with a stereo mini jack cable.

  1. USB-A connector
    (downstream)

Connects to a peripheral USB device.

  1. Cable holder

Holds the monitor cables.

  1. Stand*1

Adjusts the height and angle (tilt, swivel, rotation) of the monitor.

  1. Main power switch

Turns the main power on or off.

Connects the power cord.

  1. D-Sub15 pin (mini) connector

Connects to a PC with D-Sub signal output.

  1. DisplayPort connector

Connects to a PC with DisplayPort signal output.

  1. HDMI connector

  1. DVI-D connector

Connects to a PC with DVI-D signal output.

  1. USB-B connector
    (upstream)

Connects a USB cable to use the USB hub function (see Using the USB Hub Function).

  1. A separate stand (or monitor arm) can be attached to this product by removing the stand.
