FAQs

When connecting Mac (2018 or later) to an monitor with DVI input, screen flicker occurs or no image displayed.

- Phenomena

? ?Screen flicker appears on screen.

? ?A monitor may not show image.

- Computer

? Mac released after 2018

? ?- Mac mini (2018),

? ?- MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018), etc.

- Monitor

? Monitor with DVI input connentor

- Connection

? Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) to DVI conversion

? HDMI to DVI conversion

Regarding these phenomena, this is a known issue and currently?there is no way to avoid it by monitor settings.

There is no third-party conversion cable or adapter that we recommend for conversion to DVI.

In order to avoid this problem, please use alternative connection other than DVI conversion if possible.

Please contact each manufacturer/distributor about specifications of Mac, conversion cables/adapters by 3rd parties.
